Standard equipment, VSF 20 series
- The CPS features a forced ventilation system (F-AU 3) with optical warning signal (ANGEL SIGNAL) for the CPS wearer. With a breathing air hose the CPS wearer’s air supply can be connected to an external air supply. The wearer can infinitely adjust the air supply within a specified volume flow rate range. The air supply is monitored through an air conditioning and regulating station, for example the TESIMAX MOBILE AIR series. The F-AU 3 stainless steel air inlet can be rotated through 360º and is fully integrated (Type 1c). Forced breathing air is connected through the FLAT FACE coupling with safety lock. An adapter for euro couplings is available (see Extras). The CPS feature built-in ventilation hoses with silencers at their ends for continuous internal ventilation with fresh air.
- A transparent non-fogging composite mask window model VS 20 (permanent anti-fog), with built-in PTFE foil window. The window provides protection from all reference chemicals to DIN EN 943 Part 2 (ET). An orange-tinted version is optionally also available – see Extras.
- Five-finger exchangeable chemical protection gloves with the TESIMAX exchange system are fitted (standard: Size 10). Inner or overgloves are not generally required. For models and possible alternatives see the model description.
- Safety boots, size 46, certified to DIN EN 15090, DIN EN ISO 20345 and DIN EN 13832-3 are exchangeable (TESIMAX® replacement system). For other sizes (43–47) see Extras.
- Some hazmat suit models are equipped with PRISMA safety boots to DIN EN 344 and DIN EN 345 (see models). These boots are resistant against chemicals such as oils and grease.
- The suit features four safety (exhalation) valves with an additional splash cover made from suit fabric.
- The suit features braces that are attached at the crotch (DGBM G 900 1497.0, EP 0440954 and US patent No. 5.133.092) and allow the suit to be adjusted to the wearer’s size and to evenly distribute its weight across both shoulders.
- The 180 cm long, gas- and liquid-tight zip is fitted on the right side and is protected with a labyrinth cover and closes from bottom to top.
- The suit also incorporates a radio pocket.
- The suit is supplied in a black, tear-resistant storage bag for flat storage.
